How to determine the most suitable quantity for an order?

1. Check with the supplier how many items are packed in a box.

2. Order the product in multiples of this quantity. If a box contains 54 items, order 54, 108, 162, 216, etc. If 20 items, then 20, 40, 80, and so on.

3. Pay attention to the number of boxes. It is better to order in multiples of an even number, such as 4, 8, 16, etc.

4. Ordering an even number of boxes allows us to form a pallet more efficiently, saving you on shipping costs.

For example, if you order an incomplete box, we or your supplier will need to fill that space with cardboard or foam. This space could be used to ship more of your product. Regarding cargo on a pallet, if you have 5 or 7 boxes, it will be harder to form a fully packed pallet compared to having an even number of boxes. This reduces overall density, which increases the cost per kg for shipping. While this may not affect loose cargo, palletized shipments are always safer. So, it’s better to keep this in mind.
